Currently: Castaways and Cutouts

Salt Licks

So Yesterday after work I stopped at a gas station along Gray's Ferry. I parked the car and went in to give the cashier my tender as usual. If I recall correctly I was laying a twenty down on the line. I've been using quite a bit of gas lately. In fact I think thats like the third time I put gas in this week. Now granted, I don't fill it each time but you get the drift. So as I was exiting the establishment, I see a man at my car. The man is taking my gas cap off. So I started walking faster. We made eye contact. I yelled something to the effect of "what are you doing?" It may or may not have had a cuss word in there. It all happened so fast. This startled the man. He quickly began apologizing and telling me he thought it was this ladies car. He was hard to understand and I wasn't entirely clear on his motives. Then he went to the car next to mine and started pumping gas. The lady came out and gave him money. thats when it all came together. I started to feel rather low about startling the man. So once we were done at our respective pumps I strolled over to apologize. So I apologized for yelling at him and told him I thought he was siphoning my gas. I gave him a dollar and he thanked me for "lookin' out." He also tried to hug me so I extended my hand to accept the lesser of two evils.

Currently: Lead Belly's Last Sessions

...and last night I had a dream

The time was close to 4 a.m. I know because I had just gotten up to put the puppy out to pee.
Actually she yapped for quite sometime before I fell back to sleep. So in all reality it could have been closer to 5.

Anyway, Anne was sick. However she had work and if she did not go in she would be fired. She worked in center city with Kayla and Steph. So its unclear whether it was Urban outfitters or American Apparel.
The only way to keep her from being fired was for me to take up the mantle and work in her stead.
The problem being my only mode of transportation appeared to be her Father's Harley. I do not have a motorcycle license nor have I ever ridden anything other than a dirt bike . I was also afraid of parking it up there and having it stolen.
The was no resolution. Twas a real cliff hanger.
